Come join us for a community planting day at The Groynes, along the Ōtukaikino River margin.
The Ōtukaikino River is spring-fed, and provides valuable habitat for fish and other wildlife. We are planting along the banks in these areas to enhance biodiversity, stabilise from flooding, and help keep the waterway clean.
Bring a pair of gloves, your own spade if you have one, and your enthusiasm!
Enter The Groynes through the main entrance then follow the signs towards the dog park.
