The Hatuma Half Marathon has been a staple in the Central Hawke’s Bay event calendar for more than 40 years and is a key feature of the Central Hawke’s Bay Spring Fling.
The picturesque 21.1 kilometre course takes in the entire circumference of the Lake Whatumā, starting and finishing at the Waipukurau Racecourse.
Open to walkers and runners, and with half marathon, 10km and 5km options, the Hatuma Half Marathon is an event that can be completed as an individual or part of a team.

Early bird Special (July 12 – September 16, 2021):
Half Marathon Walk or Run - $25/Adult, $15/youth or $60 per relay team (2-4 people);
Corporate Challenge Half Marathon Walk or Run - $60 per relay team (2-4 people)
10km Walk or Run - $25/Adult, $15 youth
5km walk or run option – enter as part of a (2 person) relay team in the 10km section, $30 youth team, $50 adult team, $40 mixed team.
On the day late entry fee applies - $10.

The Hatuma Half Marathon is a part of Central Hawke’s Bay Spring Fling.
