Kako Chocolate School, located in Glen Innes, Auckland, is a wonderful place for people of all skill levels to come and experience the art of fine chocolate making. Whether you are after a fun day out tasting & creating mouth-watering chocolate, or want to hone your chocolate making skills in our more advanced classes, our ‘hands on’ environment will deliver you a learning experience to remember!
All chocolate classes have been designed by our Executive Chocolatier using our own exclusive recipes. We keep our group sizes small, usually 10 or under, to ensure everyone is involved and participating in making the chocolate. You will be provided with a recipe book covering all the chocolates we will be making in the chocolate class, with plenty of room for notes. This is yours to take away at the end of class. And everything you make - you take! All chocolates made in the class are divided up between the participants.
You will learn world class techniques as used by Chocolate Masters around the world. A big focus of the chocolate classes is to equip you with the skills necessary to create your own chocolate recipes, rather than only learning how to follow recipes. Through our interactive style of learning, you will soon be making world class chocolates yourself!
