Since opening in 2015 Cleaver & Co has established itself for the go to bar and restaurant for mouth-watering ribs that fall off the bone, succulent brisket and lamb shoulder. All cooked for up to 14 hours in our Southern Pride smoker all the way from Tennessee. Come sample everything on one of our famous platters, something from the grill, one of our burgers or sign up to the monthly all you can eat ribs night. Watch your food being prepared in our large open kitchen by the “Pit Master” while you settle in to one our comfy booth seats with the family, an intimate table with your lover or leaner with the lads or the ladies . Smell the manuka wafting through the restaurant and get ready to experience southern food and hospitality kiwi style.
The décor subtlety references meat markets of old, and use materials that symbolise. Features you'll see at all our restaurants include the smoker, the pit master, chopping blocks, marble, and peeling paint with exposed brick.
