Using authentic Tibetan Buddhist meditation techniques, this retreat is ideal for those who would like to learn, embrace or deepen the gentle yet powerful and practical skill of mindfulness.
The meditations will be guided, with a primary focus on the breath, gradually moving inwards to mindfulness of mental activity and to the even more subtle level of being mindful of awareness itself. The retreat will also emphasize mindfulness of our motivations and how to transform them into being compassionate and wise. Daily yoga / mindful movement sessions will help to further deepen our practice of mindfulness.
This will be an 8-day exploration of the depths of our own minds, giving participants a taste of the power of meditation and enabling them to build or enhance their own daily meditation practice.
The retreat will be in silence, but full instruction and support will be given to all retreatants. All welcome, no previous experience necessary!
