This event is a weekly drop-in class.

Each class includes two guided meditations, a teaching and advice on how to integrate the instructions into our daily life.

Each class is self-contained. Join in any week, booking is not required.

With Resident Teacher & Buddhist Nun Kelsang Luma. Everyone is welcome.

We do not have EFTPOS so can accept either cash or bank transfer.

The Buddhist Path to Inner Peace – week of 2 August to week of 30 August 5 weeks

In Sutra of the Four Noble Truths Buddha says, ‘You should know sufferings. You should abandon origins. You should practice the path. You should attain cessations.’

To lead living beings to everlasting peace and happiness Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths.
These profound teachings explain how to correctly identify the causes of happiness and suffering and how to follow the path which leads to pure freedom happiness.

Dealing with Anger & Frustration – week of 6 Sept to week of 4 Oct 5 weeks

Anger takes many forms from mild irritation or annoyance to lingering resentment, bad temper and even rage, but it is always painful and destructive. Learn simple techniques to deal with our own and others’ anger. Through meditation and other practices it is possible to gradually reduce the frequency and intensity of our anger, and eventually eradicate it altogether.

What to expect at a class:
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or to benefit from them. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 90 minutes. Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Everybody welcome.
