Christmas at Otago Museum is magical. Join our Christmas elves in their workshop to make festive decorations, cards and games for your home, your Christmas tree, or someone you love. These self-guided, family-friendly activities are a great way to spend an hour or three.
Makerspaces offer free crafting activities for children, with amazing resources, instructions, and helpers. This Christmas we have a plethora of wonderful creations: you can create beautiful felt gingerbread people, wire stars or shooting star decorations; make a festive card; or a Christmas Kraken; or even a Dreidel spinning top to celebrate the Jewish holiday, Hanukkah.
Get into the holiday spirit at Otago Museum and celebrate Christmas with your community, amidst the choirs, Christmas lights, and holiday-themed movies.
