Experience Auckland's living history. Wander through a Fencible early settler's village as it looked during 1840-1860. Explore heritage buildings filled with authentic furniture and textiles. See the general store, old school house, the court house, raupo huts and the sod cottage, as well as the printing press, friendly chickens, and ducks in the village pond. All surrounded by attractive heritage gardens.
The village comes to life on the third Sunday of every month, where costumed characters inhabit the cottages, along with craft demonstrations and activations.
