All of us have the same basic wish - to be happy and avoid suffering.
And we human beings seem to spend almost all our time and energy working to improve our external conditions in our search for happiness and a peaceful mind.
Superficially, it seems that if we get these external conditions right, we'll be content and happy; but in reality, such happiness is, at best, fleeting.
It can be shattered so easily when things go wrong, and we continue to experience doubts, discontent and problems no matter what we do.
In fact, it is inner peace that gives us happiness that is strong and steady - and the ability to weather the problems that life throws at us with a calm and positive mind.
In this free talk, Jan will explain how we can use meditation to tap into that sense of peace. You'll have the opportunity to find out more about the classes that we offer, and a chance to try out a guided meditation.
