Postures, or “Asanas”, are generally held for longer than normal, 3 to 5 minutes for beginners and experienced yogis.
This helps the limbs stretch, the fascia to release tension, and the body to rehydrate its tissues and cells.
It is a great experience and will release any tight muscles.
WHAT TO BRING?
Comfortable clothes that you can stretch and move in, 2 blankets for support in the poses, and a yoga mat.
