Mountains to Sea Wellington is holding a community snorkel day at Titahi Bay Beach. All gear is provided, with guides on hand to walk (or swim) you through every step of the process. A great chance to hop in the water and connect with your local marine environment.
COVID 19 INFORMATION
- Vaccination passes for all those age 12 years 3 months and over will be required for all* public events in the COVID Traffic Light framework for the summer of 2021/22 *unless specified otherwise.
- Please bring your QR code for My Vaccine Pass on your phone or printed to be scanned & verified at the event. You will need to bring photo ID.
- Distancing and face coverings to be worn when practical.
Beginner snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be able to swim). Wetsuits, snorkels, flippers, experienced guides and safety gear are provided.
You may need to book depending on COVID-19 restrictions so please keep an eye on this page and the Facebook event page for changes. If you click ‘attending’ on this Facebook event, you’ll receive important information and updates.
What to bring: Togs, towel, sunhat, camera, warm clothes, mask, and your My Vaccine Pass.
Please note the minimum age is 8 years, and children below 16 must be accompanied by a snorkelling adult. Entry to the final snorkel of the day will close at 2pm.
