Laura Collins and the Back Porch Band are excited to be coming over to Greytown to headline our first Blues on the Green.
Laura says they love playing here. If you haven’t heard them in the past you can count on having an enjoyable time listening to their back porch blend of acoustic ballads and blues.
Along with Laura's originals you can expect alt-country tunes from the likes of Gillian Welch and John Hiatt, a little BB, a little Koko, some Muddy Waters and many more with soulful vocals, fiery accordion, sweet lap steel and mandolin, fine guitar pickin' and warm upright bass.
We’ve also got local band Dragonfly as our opening act.
Cobblestones Trustees are delighted to put on this event as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations with the support of a grant from Greytown Community Board.
You’ll be able to buy wine and beer as well as soft drinks and we’ll have an array of delicious food for sale. You are welcome to bring your own picnic if you wish.
Gates open 4.30pm, bring a rug or folding chairs.
Sunday late afternoons in summer is a perfect time to relax, enjoy great music, and catch up with friends and family.
