In a women’s circle, we create a shared space of deep listening. Fiercely kind listening. The kind of listening that allows you to make sense of your own words as you speak them, feeling completely free to voice whatever is on your mind or in your heart.
To ensure you feel comfortable in the special space, we’ll start with a couple of playful exercises - perhaps some movement, or a meditation to bring you into your body, as we connect with each other in this space.
There’s a monthly topic to guide us, and at times another woman will co-host the circle with me. Often to offer some specific guidance related to that topic (keep an eye on the posts in the event.)
The magic that can unfold as we step into a circle together as women, is hard to put into words. So here are a few experiences from those who have joined me in the past:
“Thank you so much for last night. I can’t actually describe how bright I feel today. Grounded and focused. I had not consciously considered how important that ‘women’s community’ connection is.”
“Thank you for creating a women’s circle. A space where we were able to be with our feminine energy and nature. A sacred place to be open and vulnerable, understanding and just listening to each other without commenting or judging. Being ‘seen’ and heard is so important for healing and accepting ourselves. It creates a place for your soul. A space for love and understanding. Where barriers of our emotional protections were dropped and we were able to just be. Women. Human. Creators. Feeling whole. Connected. So grateful for this magical day and the inside journey we spent together. When women come together incredible things can happen!”
Please bring your favourite mug for tea, and anything you need to get cozy in the space. Bolsters and blankets are provided. We kindly ask that you arrive early enough to get settled in. We’ll also have an altar in the centre of our circle, if there is a special item you would like to bring.
This gathering will be held at Sherwood’s beautiful Yoga Studio in Queenstown. Koha of $15 is suggested, depending on your current financial situation. Limited spaces. Booking required.
