Hope Community Church is located in Hope, a few kilometres south of Richmond, and draws people from about a 15 km radius.
The church property is located on Ranzau Road, situated halfway between the towns of Richmond (population 13,000) which is 5 minutes drive north and Brightwater which is 5 minutes drive to the south (population 1,200). Ranzau Primary School is situated directly across the road.
The church has approximately 480 people (including children) who identify this church as their spiritual home.
A major building redevelopment has just been completed. The church has an ambition to use its facilities and resources for the benefit of the wider community and to help people at all levels of their lives.
The leadership structure of the church is as follows:
Elder Group: This group is responsible for theological and missional direction of the church, as well as overarching pastoral care.
Leadership Group: This group is responsible for the day-to-day management of church ministries, staff, and facilities.
The church currently has 4 full-time and 4 part-time remunerated staff. Their responsibilities are as follows:

Teaching Pastor - Teaching
Children's and Families Pastor - Children’s and Family Ministries
Administrator - General Administration
Women’s Coordinator - Champion and Encourager of Women’s Development
Youth Pastor - Youth ministries
Discipleship Pastor – Small groups and mentoring
Facility Manager – Managing the hiring and use of the facility
