Pregnancy Yoga is a modified hatha yoga, safe and suitable for pregnant bodies.
It focuses on breath and developing the inward-looking feminine mind (our passive part of our mind/body experience) in preparation for the childbirth year, while still being acutely aware and maintaining safe alignment principles (men have a feminine part of the mind also and women also have a masculine part of the mind). It is the part of the mind/body awareness that becomes necessary to tune into during the birthing process.
The class also emphasizes community.
Past participants have remarked that the classes prepared them well for their birthing process and many ladies create lasting friendships with other attendees.
This Classe is for 2nd and 3rd trimester pregnant women. This class will run for 13 weeks with term enrolment discount. Dropins must contact me so I can reserve a mat space for them.
Mask wearing protocols when walking through public areas of hospital (from front door until you get onto your mat space).
