Three years ago, photographer John Crawford decided to stop walking past and start sitting down. This singular action has led to a body of photographic work that captures the stories and portraits of individuals who inhabit the streets. This collection of striking and hard-hitting portraits throws the spotlight on the rise of homelessness and tells the story of those who spend their days on the streets.
We welcome a can of (non-perishable) food as entry to this exhibition. This will be given to the Upper Hutt Housing Trust, Upper Hutt Food Bank, and Orongomai Marae.
