Hear leading NZ musicians in rarely performed ensemble versions of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 in Eb major “Emperor”, a selection of Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms, and Bela Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances. This concert features the dynamic playing of pianist Tony Yan Tong Chen and a 22 piece chamber orchestra, directed by Peter Thomas.

This is the final concert in our series featuring five amazing pianists playing all five Beethoven Piano Concerti.
