An impressive cast of local music legends put a unique spin on Katherine Mansfield’s revered poetry...

Join Anna Coddington, Lawrence Arabia, Julia Deans, Lontalius, Lorina Harding, Charlotte Yates, Show Pony, and French For Rabbits as they perform original music inspired by and set to the poems of iconic writer Katherine Mansfield.

In this beautifully crafted ‘mini version’ of Mansfield – In Her Own Words, the fabulous Robyn Malcolm (Outrageous Fortune, Shortland Street) joins as special guest narrator, threading the music together with excerpts of Katherine’s exquisitely written letters.

A true celebration of music and writing from Aotearoa, Mansfield In Her Own Words: Unplugged is a rare opportunity to hear an eclectic mix of some of our finest musicians in the magical Mansfield Garden.

Presented with thanks to the The Friends of Hamilton Gardens.

Limited VIP tickets include an intimate pre-show talk with cast members about how they created their settings of Manfield's poetry, plus the best seats in the house.
