Design and make your own suffrage or steampunk-themed socks and tour Kate Sheppard's house in Victorian clothes.
This fun and creative Kidsfest holiday activity will be held at Te Whare Waiutuutu Kate Sheppard House and includes learning about Kate Sheppard and the women's suffrage campaign.
The event is suitable for ages 8 -14 and is for children only. This is a hands-on workshop and involves the use of sharp objects.
Tickets: $15 per child, includes all materials required for making unique over-the-knee socks and entry to the museum.
There is no parking onsite, so please find a park in the surrounding streets or try the University of Canterbury's Clyde Carpark on Arts Road (free on weekends).
