New students will work on a Scrap Quilt which can be made to any size, using the Quilt As You Go method.
Returning students can either continue their sampler blocks or start a scrap quilt.

This course is kindly funded by Creative Communities and the Dunedin City Council.
Students supply their own materials for this course. For your scrap quilt, please bring:
- Your scrap bag OR 6 fat quarters (2x plain light fabric, 2 medium patterned fabric, 2 dark patterned fabric)
- All fabrics should be cotton (available from Spotlight)
- Thread to match
- Sewing machine in good workable order
Basic equipment such as cutters and rulers provided.
All students agree to comply with DWEA terms and conditions, and to comply with any SDCN Covid policies if these are required at the time of this class.
The cost is $75 for the 2-day course. This is payable by credit card via Paypal or internet banking.
If you have a Community Services Card, the fee is reduced by 50% to $37.50. In this case, please email your name, address, phone number and email address to firstname.lastname@example.org stating which course you want to enrol in. We will enrol you and then you can pay the discounted price by bank transfer. You will be required to bring your Community Services Card on the first day of class for verification.
