Weekly Community Yoga Classes
$10-$15 Casual Drop in
5.45-6.45pm or 7-8pm
Each week a group of us meet to find our breath, to connect with our bodies, to take time out for ourselves to re centre and feel in balance. We're a friendly bunch and welcome others to join us.
5.45-6.45pm - Yoga Flow
We start with some meditation and breathing, then warm up our bodies with sun salutes and move into a targeted flow(series of postures) before finishing up in savasana(the best pose where you lie on your back and relax)
7-8pm - Yang Yin Combo
We start with some meditation and breathing, warm up our bodies with some dynamic flowing movements like sun salutes and a yoga flow(series of postures linked together). Then as we move into the second half of the class we start to settle, to turn our attention inward, movement turns to stillness as we hold postures stretching deep into the connective tissues. We try to quieten down again taking some well deserved integration and rest time in savasana.
Both classes are open to all levels. At yoga club I encourage you to remember that it's not about achieving perfect postures. The more we can identify the modifications and adjustments our own bodies need, the better! Promoting awareness and self care always.
No bookings required for these classes.
You can bring your own mat or we have some available.
Optional towel (for occasional slippery yoga mats).
