For children of all ages.
10 weeks / casual basis available
Visit parks and nature settings around Marlborough to explore and play with your children, starting with afternoon tea.
What is the focus?
- Outdoor Exploration
- Child-led Play
- Unassisted Movement
- Community for parents and children
A typical session starts with afternoon tea that I provide and some time to connect and chat. Then we follow the children's lead as they explore the surrounding area that that week's setting provide. They might create rope swings, build huts or climb trees in the forrest, collect shells and make a sand creation at the beach, jump in puddles, pick flowers and feed the ducks at a park, play with mud and water at the river or run wild and create their own games with other children at a reserve. There's so much for them to get stuck into and play the afternoon away!
"Dagmar's nature play course is exactly what I've been looking for as an experience for my two boys. Wholesome outdoor fun where they can explore, get muddy and discover new adventures in a really easy and convenient set-up for me. Also just love hanging out with other mums with a cup of tea in hand!" - Melissa
“I really enjoyed the free play and more confidence in my children. It was a great way to discover new places around Marlborough.” - Dayna
“Nature Play reinforces our love for outdoor spaces and lets the kids test boundaries. There were many times I watched the kids gaining so much confidence in activities like climbing and exploring “spooky” areas. Food’s pretty good too!” - Nick
