BreakOut Presents are proud to announce the return of the prodigal son of drum and bass K MOTIONZ, back to warm things up for Spring alongside very special guests EKKO & SIDETRACK.
New Zealand fans only got a small taste of K Motionz, performing sets at Golden Sounds and Golden Lights Music Festivals in January this year, right before his debut summer tour was cruelly cut off due to COVID restrictions. But he was never in any doubt about returning, and BreakOut Presents are pumped to announce a 4 date tour, starting in Dunedin (29 Sep), Wellington (30 Sep), Christchurch on (1 Oct) and a final show at Auckland’s Studio (7 Oct).
At just 22, K MOTIONZ has already become one of the most in-demand D&B producers in the UK. Releasing a 16-track debut album ‘The Evolution’ on the legendary Dominator's infamous D-Stortion Records in 2018, saw him popping up on playlists around the world. Since then, K Motionz has become a mainstay of the European festival circuit, as well as receiving support from drum and bass royalty including Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Sub Focus, Dimension and Hybrid Minds.
Australian production duo Jeff & Jonathan Hansen aka EKKO & SIDETRACK have steadily become one of the most exciting up-and-coming duos within drum & bass. With features on Liquicity, Viper, UKF, Circus Records and Axtone and support from the likes of Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Pendulum among others they are quickly making a name with their euphoric take on dance music.
In 2020 they released their vocal tour de force ‘Paper Birds’ featuring Ruth Royall (2+ mil online streams), a Flume endorsed bootleg of his track ‘Rushing Back’ and collaborated with New Zealand mainstays Lee Mvtthews on Dark Machine records. They’ve kicked off 2022 in dynamic fashion with an official remix of ‘Still Sleepless’ by DOD & Carla Munroe on Axwell’s label Axtone; which has picked up support from Charlie Hedges & Rene LaVice on BBC Radio 1.
Born out of lockdown, BreakOut Presents is an Endeavour Live production specialising in all things Drum and Bass.
