Taylor-Jensen Fine Arts, the Central District’s Premier Art Gallery, offers a discriminating public the best in local and regional NZ art in all media: oil and acrylic paintings, watercolours, graphics, sculpture, glass, ceramics, turned and carved wood, textiles, jewellery, furniture and design, Maori art and more.
The Gallery also has a changing exhibition space where 12 to 15 group shows and solo exhibitions are featured annually. Artist receptions and formal openings are advertised widely and personal invites are sent to the Gallery’s subscriber list.
Taylor-Jensen Fine Arts provides conservation framing, access to conservators in all mediums, installation services, written appraisals and verbal valuations. Curatorial services and collection consultations also available.
Making art available and affordable is a goal of the Gallery; most major credit cards are accepted and a Lay-by option is also offered. Purchases can be easily shipped within New Zealand and overseas as required.
Directions: Taylor-Jensen Fine Arts is located in the walkway that leads to the front entrance of the Palmerston North public gallery between the square and George Street. From George Street take the steps up to the library ramp and then the second set of steps on the left that leads to the gallery.
