The people who make up Springs Of Life Church are committed to God, their families and each other. The strongest values of our church culture are freedom and honour.
Visitors quickly become friends at our church! We are a community church in that we are made up of all ages, all ethnicities and all sectors of society. We are pretty ordinary people with all manner of jobs, skills and experiences. Our people are spread over the west half of Auckland from north to south which means we make an effort to come together for small groups meetings.
Worshipping and celebrating our loving God is a big part of who we are. We know we are loved by God and seek to help others know they are loved to. Telling stories of what God has been doing is important to us and we encourage each other for good things.
Praying with and for one another is also very important to us. Prayer plays a big part in our small group meetings. God answers prayer and we expect miracles and experience God's power to bless, heal and change our lives.
The Bible is our source book from where we get our grounding as followers of Jesus. Many of us take turns at teaching from the Bible and we have Bible study courses. We encourage daily Bible reading for everyone of all ages. We have invested heavily in training resources so people can become fully who God has made us to be.
God's Holy Spirit is vital to our lives and we teach and practice the Spiritual Gifts God gives us to help others. We are a prophetic kind of people who try to respond to God's guidance so we can grow in our intimacy with Him.
In our church we are seeking to be more and more ordinary in an increasingly supernatural kind of way. We want our lives to impact the people we live, play, work and study with so others gain what we give away.
