Mataaga Aoga Amata centre is an initiative of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa (E.F.K.S.) in Grey Lynn. Our centre was established to meet the needs of church families and the wider community and officially opened in 2001. We support families that are looking to return back to work, families with low income and those who are furthering their studies.
We are a full immersion Samoan language centre that provided high quality learning experiences. Learning and Teaching is in Samoan because we strongly believe that if you are strong in your language, English will follow after. Most of our documentation around the centre will also be in Samoan.
Our staff are fully qualified and registered with the New Zealand Teachers Council. and they also hold current first aid certificates.
Our centre is licensed for 22 children with the maximum of 6 under two year olds.
