Join rongoā practitioners as they celebrate Matariki and puaka rising to signal the Maori New Year. Please arrive at 6.30am to witness the dawn breaking with a karakia and a ceremonial tree planting as a symbol of new beginnings. The dawn planting will be followed by a hui where we share our wishes for the year to come.
*Dress warmly with sturdy footwear, gumboots and warm layers recommended.
