Walk of Light is a creative kids initiative recognising that after two years of global isolation and introspection it’s time to take gentle steps of light and hope.
Imagine, the Taylor river dotted with Marlborough’s voices, community weaving their way through with lanterns, all coming together as one, in unity, to sing ‘How Great Thou Art’ with a light display from the ASB Theatre.
Join us on Saturday 20th August for a 6pm start, bring your whanua and friends for this FREE community event celebrating ‘Te Noho Tahi’ - being together.
Lanterns and tea light candles will be for sale at the commencement of the walk, along with soup & milo available to purchase at the end of the walk. All proceeds will go towards Creative Kids Trust programmes in the Marlborough community.
