The Bay’s very own inaugural food festival is coming in 2022!
To be held from 7 - 10 April, we’ll be celebrating the very best of our plentiful produce from across the coastal Bay of Plenty.
With workshops and demonstrations, degustation’s and pop-ups, restaurant nights and themed in-house menus, to culturally infused dining experiences and māra kai (food garden) activations.
Catering to all people and palates, the Flavours of Plenty Festival will feature many bespoke and key events spanning from Waihī Beach, Katikati, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Whakatāne and Ōhope.
As part of Tourism Bay of Plenty’s ‘Horticultural Provenance’ Place DNA® - Flavours of Plenty is the platform to launching our region’s culinary tourism strategy and at the centre of this is the Flavours of Plenty Festival - our annual showcase.
So come along to this exciting BA5 and hear all about the Festival programme from our resident foodie and passion lead, Stacey Jones, and try out the harvest table - a selection of incredible products grown, crafted and made right here in the Bay.
