Creating characters kids care about: writing for a younger audience

Join the 2021 Margaret Mahy Medal winner, Tania (T. K.) Roxborogh (Charlie Tangaroa and the Creature from the Sea) for a workshop that offers ways to create convincing, credible characters children will love, with the focus on stories aimed at upper primary and secondary students. Whether you're wrestling with a recalcitrant narrator or protagonist, or have a blank page to start anew, come along to this workshop to be inspired, motivated and challenged.
