CTC’s Crew Training Centre at Hamilton International Airport in New Zealand provides training facilities and accommodation for approximately 300 trainee pilots and instructors. The centre has a very international feel about it with trainees from all around the world in situ.
Based on a prime 1.8 hectare site adjacent to the main runway, the 19,000 square foot purpose-built training centre houses 10 briefing rooms, three large lecture rooms, a crew room, Diamond DA 42 and Kingair B200 simulators and planning and operations facilities as well as a large suite of management and administration offices. CTC’s airline orientated approach to training is reflected in the design and facilities available on site.
The centre has some aeronautical features built into the design, the trainees benefit from some of the best facilities available in the southern hemisphere today and our own on site aircraft maintenance facilities support our fleet of Garmin 1000 equipped Diamond and Cessna Aircraft.
