The 4th session of "The Cheese Board" is themed "French Cheese" in honour of Bastille Day!
"The Cheese Board" is taking place at The Wine Station and is hosted by cheese guru, Virginnia Thomas - a monthly get together for you to talk, taste and discover all things cheese.
Virginnia is a passionate cheese aficionado, who amongst other career highlights, has been inducted into the prestigious French Guilde Internationale des Fromagers, with the title Garde et Juré (guard and judge) for her work with French specialty cheese and is only one of three people in Australasia to be awarded the American Cheese Society title of Certified Cheese Professional.
Tickets are $40 per person, which includes tasting of three cheeses with a wine match & tasting notes. Q&A session with Virginnia thereafter. Pre-bookings essential.
The Wine Station is centrally located at the 1906 heritage building, Blenheim Railway Station. The Wine Station is a showpiece for Marlborough wine and artisan food products.
