Langdale Vineyard Restaurant is an attractive country restaurant with rose and lavender gardens nestled among vineyards on Langdales Road about 20 minutes from Christchurch.
The restaurant’s three walls of French doors open onto the gardens with the Winery Hall adjacent to the Restaurant.
The sheltered gardens have shaded seating areas and are full of roses and lavender making this an ideal indoor and outdoor aspect to your wedding reception and providing many attractive photo opportunities in the gardens and vineyards.
The first vineyards were planted in 1989. Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling, make up the bulk of the 4.0 hectare vineyards.
The present owner makes some wine and larger quantities are made by Kirk Brae, winemaker at Sandihurst.
The newly-styled Langdale Wines are presently only available for sale through the restaurant.
