Suitable for beginners - easy projects to help build your confidence.
This introductory course is being held over five consecutive Thursday evenings by experienced printmaker and tutor, Lisa Feyen. She will familiarise you with the use of hand-cut stencils, and carefully guide you through this versatile screen printing process, encouraging you to explore and experiment with the medium.
Screen printing is a great way to apply images on T-shirts or paper for fine art prints, fabric for making cushion covers or bags, flat pack boxes, calico bags, greetings cards… the options are endless! With minimal equipment you can print at home on your kitchen table once you know what to do.
You will work on easy projects to build your confidence, before progressing to printing on items such as a T-shirt or bag. So whether you are new to screen printing, or want to refresh your skills, this is a great place to do that while having fun surrounded by like-minded artisans.
Suitable for adults and ages 14+.
