Newborn photography is a very specialised photography genre requiring patience and skill. We see many wonderful newborn photos online, but how do we achieve those safely?
The truth is, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that we don't see in that beautiful photo - and to try to replicate it without having the knowledge on how to do it properly can be unsafe.
Join us at this workshop hosted by NZIPP Nelson as we present safety in Newborn Photography - a half-day workshop covering all aspects of safe newborn photography, led by NZIPP Accredited Professional Photographer, Sarah McGregor.
Sarah is the owner of Minime Photography and has been photographing newborns at her home studio for the past 11 years. Sarah was part of the development team for the newborn safety workshop and has vast experience in newborn photography.
This workshop will be hands-on with our Stand-In-Baby model, and covers a variety of safety aspects for both newborns and studio.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
Bring your camera, and something to take notes if you wish.
There will be plenty of time for questions following the course for anyone that might want to stay around for an hour following.
