Feilding Theatre Players have assembled a stellar cast ably directed by Michael Rewiri-Thorsen and Dan Mateer. The Dog Logs, as told to author C J Johnson, are a collection of hilarious and heartbreaking monologues that examines the lives of dogs from every breed, age and situation.
From a tough Rottweiler with neighbour problems to an aging mongrel who discovers love late in life. Telling stories of friendship, romance, and revenge, The Dog Logs is a refreshing take on canine life that is touching and surprisingly human. Some of the dogs’ stories are sad, a lot are funny and some are even moving as the pooches negotiate emotions such as love, friendship, libido and death.
The dog. Man's best friend. The monologues demonstrate our canine companions may well be, at least in some cases, smarter than we think.
