The Capitol Cinema presents: Spotlight on Alfred Hitchcock!

Film’s most acclaimed and greatest director needs no introduction. Be you a budding film student or a lifelong fan, The Capitol is the home of The Masters finest work for the next 6 weeks. Often described as ‘pure cinema’, Hitchcock’s films have captivated filmmakers and fans alike for over 90 years. From taking an overtly subjective view, and putting the audience in the mind of his protagonists, Hitchcock has long outlived his ‘Master Of Suspense’ moniker, to be known as the greatest director that ever lived. From Scorcese to Fincher and beyond, his influence abounds to this day. Films in the Capitol’s collection include: Shadow of A Doubt, Strangers on A Train, North By Northwest, Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds.
