A Listener article in November 2018 expressed concern that our all-encompassing digital culture and screen time are putting at risk “our aptitude for deep reading”.

Chaired by Noelle McCarthy, this panel of passionate readers and futurists will debate our rapidly changing reading environment. The panel members include Adam Dudding and John Daniell, both authors and podcast writers, podcaster and Ockham award-winning author Pip Adam. Her novel Nothing to See has been shortlisted for the Jann Medlicott Acorn Prize for Fiction in this year’s Ockham New Zealand Book Awards.
