NZSO associate concertmaster Donald Armstrong, brings together the Amici ensemble which regularly promotes chamber music written for unusual combinations of instruments as well as works which are rarely performed live. This year internationally celebrated pianist Jian Liu joins the ‘friends’ Andrew Thomson (violin, viola), Malavika Gopal (violin), Julia Joyce (viola) and Andrew Joyce (cello) as well as Armstrong.
