UPDATED - 28 March 2022
Yay! After 8 long months (due to covid restrictions) we’ll be back up and running from this Sunday, 3 April 2022.
The Swanson Market is held on the first Sunday of the month (excluding January) and has become a regular community event in Swanson. It is run by a small group of community volunteers and in the main is a car boot sale (second-hand goods). Note: we do not allow food stalls i.e. cooked on-site. Please support our fundraising sausage sizzle held for the first couple of hours and our wonderful cafe, which has delicious coffee and food.
Here's how it works:
- No bookings but it pays to be in and set up by 7am especially if the weather is fine
- You sell out of the back of your car or if you wish, you can set up a small collapsible table at the rear of your car
- Cost is $5 per car park space, which is collected from you during the first part of the morning
For more information please text Sharon on 0274 989 597.
NB: Funds support the upkeep of our old heritage railway station building and other great local community initiatives in the Swanson community.
