The home of this rural museum is an authentically furnished farm homestead and worker's cottage circa 1900, which is the site of the headquarters of the Matamata Estate (1865-1904) founded by J C Firth.
Admission to Firth Tower Reserve for casual visitors free of charge.
Admission to historic buildings: $5 adults, $1 Children, $3 Seniors
on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Museum is closed Tuesday & Wednesday. We are happy to open for pre-booked bus trips and tours. A charge of $4 per person for trips & tours applies, organisers and drivers free. The services of a staff member is included in this price.
