Cornwall Park is full of natural wonders that spark creative flair, so let us get inspired and create some beautiful watercolour bookmarks!
The workshop will begin with a short walk to find inspiration in the season's trees. Then you will return to Huia Lodge where tutor Chloe Lam will guide you through creating a miniature art piece using watercolour techniques to take home.
All materials supplied.
Part of the workshop will be held indoors. All attendees over the age of 12 years will be required to wear a face mask when inside Huia Lodge Discovery Hub.
Registration is essential and numbers are limited.
Chloe Lam is an Auckland-based art educator who has a cross-cultural background. Besides her bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication (Graphic Design), she is also a holder of a master’s degree in Art and Education from Birmingham City University.
She holds a variety of art projects in different schools and studios in Auckland. Using multidisciplinary and innovative art activities to elicit a student's talent and express feelings, emotion and ideas. She is passionate about encouraging people to develop their art skills through observation and exploration.
This event will take place if it fits within the current Protection Framework restrictions and Government guidelines at the time. Possibility of postponement or cancellation if Framework restrictions and New Zealand Government guidelines change, or if the event is affected by staffing shortages. Masks are required when indoors.
