This is the final event of our 2022 Kinross Harvest Celebration - an annual event in Gibbston, Queenstown that celebrates the close of the wine industry's busiest time of year - the grape harvest. This festival brings together a range of events to celebrate the magic of the world of wine and the fine humans who spend their lives crafting and creating liquid gold.
South American wine tasting

Within our wine team sits a literal world of knowledge, so it was obvious we should tap into the wealth of experience here and lead some international tastings to reignite your travel bug! Native Chilean (and Senior Wine Advisor and WSET 3) Gerald Leon and Mexican Ivonne Cisneros ( Senior Wine Advisor and WSET 2) will lead this virtual tour through the incredible rich wines of Argentina and Chile – how they differ, how they are affected by the incredible climatic and geographic features of their provinces, and our picks on where you should go first. Expect beautiful images of arid deserts, high mountains, stories of hailstones the size of baseballs and wine that will knock your socks off.
Please note that this is earlier in the afternoon session than our other tasting events.
