On Saturday 2 July, come and celebrate Matariki at Cobblestones Museum.
Ride the old fire engine to lunch at Cobblestones from The Town Hall, from 11am - 3pm or make your own way there.
Come celebrate Matariki at Cobblestones. Learn the art of harakeke weaving, (ticketed event). Do Matariki crafts and see the local school kapa haka group perform. There's plenty to keep the kids busy including old fashioned games like stilts, hobby horses, quoits, and hula hoops, and you can make Matariki stars in the schoolhouse to take home with you.
Relax in our beautiful surroundings with mulled wine and mince pies, lunch, Devonshire tea, or coffee and cake from the cafe. There's also a sausage sizzle for the kids. Food will be available from 12pm - 3pm.
Cobblestones Museum & Early Settlers Village is a fascinating heritage venue for all ages right in the heart of Greytown. Funds raised will be used to develop new exhibitions in the Historic Hastwell Stables and the Red Shed.
Entry by koha/donation.
