Freshly picked and tickled pink. Something sweet is blossoming at Hippopotamus. An ode to spring in the capital, Chef Executive Chef Jiwon Do has whipped up a strawberry celebration. Hippo’s most succulent seasonal high tea yet is a homage to the favourite child of the berry family. With the strawberry put high on her high tea pedestal, this offering is bright and luscious with pops of pink aplenty and rosy reds by the bushel.

From tarts to shortcakes and macarons to madeleines, Hippo’s fruitful fling features strawberries nine ways. Think chocolate-coated or sandwiched between smoked chicken and camembert, any way you slice it, this is a strawberry soiree prime for the picking.
