Where:

Toitū Otago Settlers Museum, 31 Queens Garden, Dunedin

Ticket Information:

In celebration of Toitū’s latest exhibition ‘The Big Day’, take the popular phrase “tying the knot” literally in this hands-on macramé workshop.

Lead by Karla Dunn, self-taught macramé artist and lover of all things art and textiles, you’ll be guided through creating your own wall hanging with fibre.

In this three-hour workshop Karla will guide you through what she believes to be the meditative practice of macramé. Drawing inspiration from nature and man-made constructs and turning knots into artworks rich in texture and meaning.

Toitū Josephine Foyer
$20 per person, limited spaces
