This is the fifth event of our 2022 Kinross Harvest Celebration - an annual event in Gibbston, Queenstown that celebrates the close of the wine industry's busiest time of year - the grape harvest. This festival brings together a range of events to celebrate the magic of the world of wine and the fine humans who spend their lives crafting and creating liquid gold.
Celebrating the Waitaki - Five Course Dinner -with Valli Wine

Those close to Grant Taylor will know how avidly he discusses the importance of the Waitaki region to the wine industry – his pick as our next big wine region. Its parallels to Burgundy and the quality of the vintages to date certainly attest to his theory. Although we are Gibbston through and through, we thought it time we took a culinary road trip of sorts, to explore all the fine produce and wine this region offers. Head Chef Peter Franklin and his team are excited to present to you a sumptuous five course dinner that celebrates this beautiful region spanning from mountains to the sea. Each course will be accompanied by some stunning aged Valli wine from the Waitaki. One not to miss.
