Want to improve your creativity, confidence and communication skills? Want to be more resilient, emotionally intelligent and adaptable to change? Improv ticks all of these boxes and more!
Improv is different to stand-up comedy; you’re not alone and you don't tell jokes. It’s about working as a team with other players to create spontaneous group stories & scenes. It's a positive form of comedy and the skills that are developed in learning this are highly transferrable for success in personal, social and career pursuits.
You don’t need drama, acting or comedy experience to join us. And you don’t need to be clever, quick-witted or funny either! The classes are low-pressure, held in a safe environment and are designed to allow participants to self-explore.
This is a 10 week course held on Tuesday evenings (last class on the 28th September) - your registration is for all 10 weeks.
This course is supported by Creative Communities NZ.
