Do you love to sketch but feel you could use some pointers? Or perhaps you don’t even know where to start?
It’s always helpful to learn the basics and gain insight on the steps and techniques you can use to develop your own unique style of drawing.
Join us and you’ll soon go from dithering to drawing.
All Drawing workshops will cover the fundamentals of drawing including composition, form and value, but most importantly they will help teach you how to really look at your subject in order to interpret what your eye sees onto paper.
In short, you will learn how to approach any subject matter and be able to draw it using basic shapes and then building on those eventually adding shading and texture to your subject.
We will often work from still life and real objects as references including plants, fruit, skulls and other found objects. You will be welcome to bring your own references as well.
We will run 2 workshops. Each one is listed as a separate event.
Some materials will be provided and others can be purchased from us on site. Get in touch for more information about materials.
