Christchurch-based pianist Anna Maksymova is the 3rd prize winner of the Kerikeri international competition and the winner of Lewis Charitable Trust Young Artist Series. After completing Masters of Music in Germany, she is in demand as a performer and a teacher.
For this concert she will explore the pictorial aspect of music with Schumann’s Waldszenen, Debussy’s Children’s Corner and the grandiose Pictures at an Exhibition by Moussorgsky.
